About the Role
As a member of the Front of House Team at The Artisan, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will vary depending on your specific role but will all contribute to delivering outstanding service and upholding the restaurant's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities (for each role):
Server:
Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders, and provide menu recommendations.
Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring guests' needs are met.
Create a positive and memorable dining experience through attentive and friendly service.
Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
Bartender:
Craft and serve a variety of artisanal cocktails, wines, and beverages.
Engage with guests, take drink orders, and provide beverage recommendations.
Maintain a well-organized and clean bar area, adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Prepare and present drinks with creativity and precision.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a coordinated guest experience.
Host:
Welcome guests as they arrive, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly.
Maintain an organized and efficient seating plan to optimize table turnover.
Manage waitlists and handle guest inquiries professionally.
Ensure the restaurant's ambiance and service align with its upscale concept.
Collaborate with the Front of House Team to provide a seamless guest experience.
Support Staff (Busser/Runner):
Assist in setting up and resetting dining areas, ensuring tables are clean and properly set.
Clear and reset tables efficiently, providing a clean and inviting atmosphere for guests.
Collaborate with servers and bartenders to deliver food and drinks to tables.
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
Help maintain restaurant cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards.
Qualifications (for each role):
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
